VOLUNTEER

The Burleson Public Library recruits, trains and maintains volunteers in service to the library and the public.  The library accepts applications from those who wish to participate in the volunteer program.

As mandated by City of Burleson policy, the library does not accept court-appointed community service for adults.  Adult volunteers will be required to provide a copy of a current driver's license and submit to a criminal background check.

If you are age 18 or over and interested in volunteering at the library, contact:

Gwen Hayward, Circulation Supervisor

(817) 426-9210 or ghayward@burlesonlibrary.com.

Teen volunteers are accepted on a case-by-case basis.  Volunteer hours for Burleson Teen Court are by appointment only; no walk-ins please.

For information on teen volunteer opportunities contact:

 Matt Morrison, Teen/Public Services Librarian

(817) 426-9205 or mmorrison@burlesonlibrary.com.
