Romeo X Juliet
Thursday, September 2nd @ 4:30pm
Thursday, September 16th @ 4:30pm
In the fantastical aeropolis of Neo Verona, the noble house of Capulet
had ruled peacefully for generations - until the ancient grudge held by the
rival house of Montague led to a mutiny. Save for Lord Capulet's young daughter
Juliet, all of the Capulets were deposed and all wiped out in a bloody coup.
Fourteen years later, Lord Montague rules the land of Neo-Verona with an
iron-fist as Juliet helps the common folk in a Robin Hood-like fashion as Prince
Romeo protests his father's cruelty. Juliet and Romeo meet by coincidence at the
Rose Ball and fall in love at first sight. However, when Juliet learns the truth
of her past, her love becomes conflicted between revolution and devotion.

Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks (with Cinematic Titanic commentary)
Monday, September 13th @ 5:00pm
This movie has about almost nothing to do
with Mary Shelley's classic tale of mad science run amok. Instead of a brilliant
young doctor trying to create life in secrecy, this Doctor Frankenstein is a
middle-aged count trying to raise the dead with the aid of his servants - a
motley crew of hunchbacks, midgets and... one guy with a limp.
Complications ensue after Count Frankenstein is forced to use an abnormal brain
and his latest creation proves to be less than perfect. There's also problems
with the local peasants (who are revolting in every sense of the word) and his
treacherous ex-employee - the dwarf Genz - who is plotting revenge with one of
the local cavemen.
Yes. You read that right. Cavemen. In a Frankenstein (sort of) movie.
